2nd Day of CNY

Today was on Free & Easy, no visiting & no visitor, so decided to bring Kitty along for a spin. Kitty is our car's second guest, our first guest is Dean. On the day we collected our car, we picked Dean up for dinner though he said not so used to being a passenger, haha... Well, all these while wanted to say :

Went to the nearest Sports Council to register as a member so I could book the badminton court as and when I like, but need to buy racket first. By the way, charges as follow :
* $7.40/hr for non peak (6pm-10pm on weekdays / 7am-10pm on weekends &PH)
* $3.50/hr for peak hr (7am-6pm on weekdays excl. PH)

Went Ikea for lunch (sambal fish not very nice), at the same time shop for a bookshelf. End up didn't buy anything except a box of Bangkit Flower, darl's favourite.

Bring Kitty to see airplane along the airport runway.

Darl says Kitty will turned into Doraemon soon (ie. NO EARS) because I keep holding her by her ears. Ops sorry... I didn't realise I was doing that, probably she's a bit chubby and overweight so I dunno how to hold her, haha..

New Year Celebration @ Dean's Place

Was suppose to have dinner at Dean's place but Darl's uncle wanted us to have steamboat and lao yusheng at their place too. Hee hee.. Uncle said if next time did not go back for Chinese New Year must inform them so we could have reunion dinner together. Thank you uncle! =D

Dean & Jen celebrated the Chinese New Year at their new place for the first time. Their house is very cosy and nicely decorated. Sorry we were late. =P

Jen cooked a very special Cantonese dish, inside got abalone, mussels, fish maw, 'long thread moss' and some giant mushrooms. She also made a very special digestive drink, so that we could digest fast and go for a second round. Haha..

We had a few rounds of card games after the meal. I think luck is on my side tonight!
First round : A + A
Second round : A + K
Third round : 10 + 6 + 5
some round later : 6 + 5 + 4 + 3 + 2
Kekeke... Actually everyone has a fair share of winning la.. all got black jack also.. =D

Dismissed at 10.30pm as Dean needs to rush home to pei his mummy ta mahjong.

Chinese New Year Eve!!!

Woke up at 10am and headed down to the city to collect roasted duck. The road is so clear though no ERP. Driving along KPE @ 70km/hr... zzz... Reached the CBD... where I used to work, I miss this place.

Ordered breakfast set while waiting for our duck to be prepared. Since there are still time, let me teach you how to eat half boil egg. Must use Sarawak Pepper k! =) By the way, there's a comic on the cup of coffee, it says,"Do not leave your belongings unattended". Coz if you lost your purse and no $ to pay for food, have to wash plates, haha..

After that, turned into Amoy Street where kor and I used to have mutton soup every Sunday during recess.

There is a Tua Pek Kong hidden at the corner. Every year without miss, Darl and his gang will gather at the Tua Pek Kong at our hometown after reunion dinner. Years pass but this practice has not been forgotten, not only that, the group is getting bigger and bigger because everyone started to bring their wife, and kids. Though we did not go back home this year, we do not want to give it a miss, and managed to find one of their branches here.

I made some wishes at the temple :

"Tua Pek Kong, please po pi po pi my darling papa mama begg supa suma sumei xiaoblue xiaopink baobao xiaobao xiongxiong gougou lele daming korkor ahlin dino jenjen ck muso... ... Good Health & Happy Always.

Also, "Tua Pek Kong, please xxxx xx xxx Xxxx x xxxx xxxxxx." hehehe...

After that give our car a shower, not really a shower. The sky is gloomy so we decided to just wipe one round or two. Twenty cent for 1.5 pail of water, we very suaku, only bring one pail.. so I quickily run upstair to get another pail, of coz didn't make it on time la lol..

Had enough rest, it's time to prepare dinner!!!
