正月初七（人日）捞鱼生

农历正月初七是人日，和一班同乡好友到莆田餐馆捞鱼生。

今年捞的第一个鱼生。

今天吃了很多虾虾。。

还有许多没有吃过的菜肴 - 莆田 style 的菜。

Chicken craw peanut soup, assam fish, pork belly. All are my favourite!

The legendary D24 Durian paste! Very nice though it looks a bit.. hmm..

As I was feeding Jrlyn, she responded,"慢慢吃". We all stunned then burst into laughing! Kor said this was the first time he heard this from her! LOL!

Ok the night is over, I still owe Darl his birthday present.. heez..

Saturday - I Hold You In My Arms

Original plan was to go to Gomus' House for a swim, but later he realised that he needs to celebrate Nana's belated birthday and also hesitating about going to F1, therefore we changed the plan. We picked Kor up for laksa, reached there all decided to have Kolomee instead, but the Kolomee turned out disappointing. It's not too bad but we want the original char-siew Kolomee, we came all the way here - We want original!!

After Kolomee, Kor wanted to order laksa to share, but we were very full already so gave up the idea. Got back to the car, Kor offered me a peach... Where do you think he got the peach from?? He squeezed a peach out of my lovely cushion!!! @#!$%^#*

After the unsuccessful peach attempt, he got himself an ice-cream at the petrol kiosk, obviously he is still hungry.

At night, Darl & I went Changi Village for Mutton Soup.

Birthday - Part II & Gratz Dean on 200!

Thanks to those who dropped me SMS on my birthday. A friend from HK says I looked very different from last time. I wonder if it's good or bad.. or maybe he got the wrong person, because I did not use real name in Facebook.. haha..

Also thanks to those who mega me in maple. Would like to Congratulate Dean a.k.a pro Bishop for completing his maple journey by reaching level 200 on the same day! Congratulations! Wah.. can't believe that I've the honor to party and witness the historical moment! Pro ah~ lol..

That evening I told Darl,
Dean will throw me a mega tonight, for my birthday. What about you?
Okie lor, then I also throw you one.

Birthday - Part I

Can't decide where to celebrate my birthday this year, finally settled with Mushroom Pot. Luckily we made reservation because it was quite pack and even the carpark is full. We saw some police cars and crowds holding signboard and banners at the carpark, thought there was a strike which is very unusual in Singapore. Then Kor Kor told us that it's Stephanie Sun's Concert. Haha! sorry so out dated.

The steamboat is good - Nice ambience, fresh food and most importantly hygienic. All know how steamboat looks like so no need to post the pics la.. here are some interesting side dishes. Thanks Darl for the treat, and thanks to all for celebrating for me. =D

A giant lollipop from Jen. Brought all the way back from her Melaka trip. Thank you and I've shared it with my colleagues. =D

Happy Birthday to Baobei Niece

My niece & family went back to Malaysia today, to celebrate her birthday. Bought some small presents for her. One from Darl and one from me. Why buy two? So that I can have more presents to wrap ma.. haha!!

Valentine + Birthday Celebration

8.20am - The part-time helper called to say that she overslept. Wah good ah! That means we could go for our lunch appointment on time!

Dean planned a belated Valentine's day for all + an early birthday celebration for Jen. He woke up at 7am to do marketing and preparing food. Guess what? He cooked us a very daring dish, steak! I guess it's no easy task, Jen wants it well done, Darl wants it medium rare, I want it in between lol.. Thanks to the cook, the food turned out nice especially the gravy to the steak. We had clam chowder and red wine to go with the main course, strawberries and cake as dessert to round up the meal. Nice~

Finally get to browse those of their younger day's photo. Thanks for sharing with us, it's very neatly arranged and labelled. Very free hor.. lol.. no la.. i mean 很有心思。lol..

BBQ Chicken

Korkor intro us this BBQ chicken which is very very nice.. each plate comes with 2 chicken wings, a bit of salad and a piece of keropok, only $2.80! The meat is so tender and juicy that I can't have enough, so I ta-pao 2 more chicken wings for supper, also tapao 2 for korkor to bring home for Lin. Who wants to eat, I bring you there next time. =D

We bought an ice-cream cake today and inside got a lotsa dry ice. Darl says he is going to show me some magic, but i must not touch the ice coz it burns. He filled the bowl with water and put a piece of ice into it. Wah.. very nice effect wor!! I am very excited and wanted to put my hand into the misty bowl, he says "NO!!!" He stopped me a few times, until he gives up, he says,"Ok I'll let you put in but for once only". I say okie. =D

Then he brings the ice into the toilet and throw it into the toilet bowl, very soon, it became a misty toilet bowl. "Now you may put your hand inside.." he said.

=( bully me.. Ok la.. he birthday let him win la..

Hehe.. later got cake cake to eat.. soon soon.. now is 11.50pm liao.. =D

Pre-Birthday Celebration for Dean

Was on leave today and had decided to make a trip down town before I turned into a mountain turtle （coz camp too long at Ulu-Ulu), at the same time, to submit the application for Big Walk. The actual day is on 2 Nov 08. (See Pic : Goodies I got upon registration.)

Meet Dean for lunch as a pre-birthday celebration just in case, he is quite fully booked over the weekend. We settled our lunch at Fish & Co. as he has crave for fish.

I went shopping happily after the meal, bought a few pretty clothing and bag and was thinking of telling Darl, then I realised that my phone was not with me!!! Go one big round of searching and found my phone at Fish & Co. What a relief.. I'm definitely not eyeing on iphone yet, I still love my Nokia.

Pass by a toy shop on my way home so I bought this. Supposed to shop for birthday presents but ended up buying a lotsa things for myself instead.. pai seh.. Anyway, want to make a guess on which set do I get in the box? Result to be released tomorrow. Stay tuned! =D
